DISTANCE project is a community design project collaboration between KMUTT, CMU, ENSCI and TCDC Chiangmai to develop a community, Mae Chaem in Chiangmai, with design. The outcome was exhibited in Chiangmai Design Week 2018 at TCDC Chiangmai.

My group was interested in Mae Chaem's skirt weaving craft called "Teen Jok", So we applied the wisdom onto craft panel designs using nature found materials to create craft to keep the craft reachable for new generations as a way to preserve the wisdom.
My panel design which allows free-form weaving to make it fun to remove limitation to create craft. Our group had the key concept of "Warp & Weft" where we kept the vertical axis and have fun to crate on the horizontal axis.
